I paid and did not get my coins.
Coin packs are credited by our server the moment Apple confirms the payment, so a missing pack is usually one that has not finished arriving — reopen the app while online and give it a moment.
Restore purchases in Settings will not bring coins back: it re-checks what your Apple ID still holds, which is Plus and Remove Ads, and a coin pack is spent rather than held. If a pack you paid for has not appeared, email us the date of the purchase and we will find it and credit it.
How do I cancel Plus?
On your device: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Sudoku Hurdle. Only Apple can cancel a subscription — we cannot do it for you.
Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus keeps working until the period you have already paid for ends.
I deleted my account and I am still being charged.
Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it with Apple using the steps above, then ask Apple for a refund of anything charged since.
I got a new phone. Where did my progress go?
Progress follows an account, not a device. If you signed in before, sign in on the new phone and it will come back. If you played as a guest, it lived only on the old device — this is the reason the app offers sign-in at all.
Can I change my leaderboard name?
Yes, in Settings. Names are public and must be unique, so a name somebody already has will be refused.
My solve time was rejected.
Times are checked on the server. A solve can be rejected if it arrives incomplete, or if the record of your moves does not add up to the finished grid. If you think that is wrong, email us the day and roughly when you played, and we will look at what arrived.
How do I stop seeing ads?
Two ways. Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that removes them for good. Sudoku Hurdle Plus removes them as part of the subscription, along with every past daily and ten free hints a game.
Either one removes the ads the game shows you: the banner and the full-screen ads between puzzles. Ads you choose to watch for a reward — a hint, some coins, a past day — stay available, because they pay you for the time rather than costing you it. You are never required to watch one.
Declining ad tracking does not remove ads — it only makes them less targeted.
I want my data deleted.
